Before you start

  • Use an approved Meta Business account with the required page or number access.
  • Finish the web Chat Agent, Knowledge Base and handoff flow first.
  • Confirm regional and channel-specific messaging requirements.

Step by step

1

Prepare Meta access

Sign in with the Meta user that manages the intended business assets. Avoid connecting personal or unrelated assets.

2

Choose the channel

Open the agent’s Meta integration area and connect the intended Facebook, WhatsApp or Instagram destination.

3

Confirm the selected asset

Verify the page, account or number before approving the connection.

4

Review channel behaviour

Shorten messages, confirm supported media and adapt the handoff wording for the channel.

5

Test a new conversation

Send a message from a separate test profile and verify the reply, saved transcript and escalation path.

Verify the result

  • Messages reach the intended FADA agent.
  • Replies return on the same channel.
  • The conversation and lead appear in the correct account.

Common issues

  • Wrong asset connected: Disconnect and reconnect with the correct Meta administrator.
  • No replies: Check the active connection, agent status and channel permissions.
  • Handoff is unclear: Use a channel-appropriate message and monitored human destination.
Important: Meta permissions, policies, conversation windows and supported features can differ by channel and can change independently of FADA.
