Before you start

  • Create the correct event type in Cal.com or Calendly.
  • Confirm provider-plan access to the required API workflow.
  • Know the event location, duration, timezone and booking questions.

Step by step

1

Open scheduling settings

Choose the supported provider in the agent’s scheduling area.

2

Add the required credential

Enter the provider credential only in the secure integration field. Never place it in the prompt or Knowledge Base.

3

Select the event type

Connect the exact event intended for FADA leads and confirm its duration and location.

4

Add booking behaviour

Use the required prompt instructions and define what information must be collected before availability is offered.

5

Run a real test

Select a test slot, confirm it through the provider, check notifications and cancel or label the appointment afterward.

Verify the result

  • Availability matches the provider calendar and timezone.
  • A successful booking appears in the scheduling system.
  • FADA stores the lead and confirmed appointment state.

Common issues

  • No availability: Check working hours, calendar conflicts, buffers, timezone and event status.
  • Booking fails: Recheck the credential, provider plan and selected event type.
  • Agent claims success too early: Require a successful provider response before confirmation.
Important: Showing a scheduling link or requested time is not the same as receiving a confirmed booking response.

Next: Configure lead capture and booking
